«Germany by OPI»: Autumn-Winter Collection 2012
The latest colour collection by OPI, Germany, stylishly complements the catwalk trends for Autumn-Winter whilst drawing inspiration from the newest fashion capital. The warm colour palette and varied textures make it the perfect accessory for the upcoming season and the final touch to complete any outfit, once again this year, nails will be the hottest accessory.
“International designers have presented strong colours and striking structures for next fall. The collection Germany by OPI rounds these looks up with colours that combine classic elegance with modern influences”, explains Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive Vice President & Artistic Director. The OPI nail polishes complement perfectly the different materials used in the Autumn-Winter collections, pearls, fur and embroidery, as featured at most important fashion shows of the year.
Inspiration Berlin: Europe’s new fashion capital
The inspiration for this collection is Berlin, Europe’s hippest hub for trendy fashion. The collection subtly reflects the classic elegance combined with avant-garde that is so typical of today’s Berlin. In true OPI tradition, this is also expressed in the very original choice of names: a play on words around the source of inspiration for this collection, like “Berlin There Done That”, “Don’t talk Bach to Me” or “Unfor-greta-bly Blue”, put the polishes in their rightful context.
Colour Palette: elegance with an original note
The 12 colours of the collection offer a rich variety of vibrant, bright and unusual shades as well urban-chic neutral tones. A variation of texture is also provided. The nail varnishes range from discreetly shimmering metallic to uniform creamy effects.
The colour palette consists of various shades of orange, red and burgundy, bright sapphire blue and violet, the “new black”, olive black and lime yellow as well as elegant neutrals in taupe, nude rose and cognac.
The “Germany by OPI” collection is available from 13th August 2012 at Douglas, Amavita pharmacies, in numerous nail studios, beauty salons, spas and hairdressing salons.
