L’Oréal Professionnel Pro Fiber Rectify

At the occasion of the launch of Pro Fiber in Switzerland, we teamed up with L’Oréal Professionnel and invited Swiss bloggers and beauty influencers to try this new, innovative hair care protocol for damaged hair. In a previous article, we already shared the experiences and testimonials of the girls who tried the RESTORE program. This article is dedicated to the RECTIFY treatment that addresses slightly sensitized natural damaged hair. But before we go into detail, please know that this year YOU can get to experience Pro Fiber for yourself. The timing is perfect. If you start now, your damaged hair will be well on the way to recovery in time for the year-end festivities! Find out more about that here >>>

Pro Fiber Rectify for the repair of fine, damaged hair

The Pro Fiber protocol starts in the salon with a diagnosis of your hair in order to determine its needs. Then the professional hairdresser selects the adequate Pro Fiber products to apply and for you to take home in order to continue the program. With RECTIFY you get a shampoo, a conditioner, a mask, a serum and Re-Charge Monodoses. Continuing the Pro Fiber routine at home will allow you to reactivate the care you received at the salon. The result is the long-lasting repair of your hair. To see whether this particular Pro Fiber hair care actually keeps its promise, we arranged for participating L’Oréal Professionnel partner salons to welcome our selected bloggers. Melissa from Kiss & Make-up was one of them and she went to Hairmania in Geneva. Here is her hair story:

Kiss & Make-up x Pro Fiber by L’Oréal Professionnel

When we asked Melissa if she wanted to test Pro Fiber for us, she was NOT so hot for it. Previous visits to the hair salon left her skeptical: her hair is ultra fragile and recent coloring and styling attempts, even if carried out by professionals, left their traces. It took quite some convincing to get the very reluctant Melissa to say YES. That, and some of her own research online, which produced unanimously positive reviews of L’Oréal Professionnel’s newest innovation, led to her finally opting in. We value Melissa as a beauty influencer and know that she would never endorse a product of which she is not 100% convinced. Having tried Pro Fiber myself, I was one step ahead and just knew that this care had everything going for it. Plus: Melissa was going to be received by Pierre Bailly and his team at Hairmania. Pierre has already been styling many a beauty – among them Laetitia Guarino, Miss Switzerland 2015. His salon is one of the largest in the French speaking part of Switzerland and highly reputed. I was sure that he would take good care of her.

In order to determine the actual degree of damage of Melissa’s hair Pierre carried out the diagnosis that is the first stage in the Pro Fiber hair protocol. It consists of questions about hair care and styling habits and a touch & feel test of the hair fiber. It turned out, that Melissa’s hair was thin and fragile yes, but not severely damaged… Pierre determined that RECTIFY was the adequate care for her. Melissa was happy to receive the products in the beautiful pink bottles and describes them as smelling of honey and lemon.

Pierre then washed her hair, applied a Pro Fiber Re-Charge Monodosis followed by the mask. After that, for maximum care, he used the leave-in serum before blow-drying. Once dry, he cut invisible layers into Melissa’s hair and styled it into loose waves. “Putting my hair literally into Pierre’s hands turned out to be a great decision”, Melissa says. And the “Before – After” photos below demonstrate perfectly why. More pictures and the full review here >>>

In order to re-activate the salon treatment, Melissa got the full RECTIFY range to take home: shampoo, conditioner, mask, leave-in care and, to be applied every forth wash instead of conditioner or mask, re-charge monodoses containing APTYL 100. You can see how Melissa applied the Pro Fiber care at home and what the outcome is in this video she produced >>>

Koschka and What-to-Where for Pro Fiber

Two more bloggers experienced Pro Fiber RECTIFY: Koschka was received at Intercoiffure Salzmann and produced this fabulous vlog about her experience >>> and Macha, femme fatal from What-to-Where, shows in her tutorial how she is applying Pro Fiber at home.

Eva Green is the ambassador for Pro Fiber L’Oréal Professionnel

Speaking of femme fatale: Eva Green, the former Bond girl featuring in Tim Burtons cinematic gem Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, has been elected by L’Oréal Professionnel as an ambassador for hair care. Who could better demonstrate the benefits of Pro Fiber than an actress whose hair style is often the very reason we attach to the roles she plays?

Everybody knows how much healthy, beautiful hair is a sensitive point in the world of films. But why Eva? Think of “Dark Shadows” by Tim Burton, where she reveals blonde hair in a trashy Barbie style, or recall “White Bird in a Blizzard” by Gregg Araki where she wears bangs. For the actress, every detail counts, and it turns out that the detail of the hairstyle supports her getting into character:

“As an actress, hair is so important”, says Eva Green. “It is essential to maintain an extremely close relationship with your hairdresser. Together, we create the different looks. My hairdresser uses the leading hair products by L’Oréal Professionnel. I’m really excited to be part of this new adventure.”

Eva Green ProFiber Ambassador

To summarise: she is beautiful and her long, thick hair is genuinely enviable – it requires very special attention. Pro Fiber by L’Oréal Professionnel has charmed Eva Green, our bloggers and us, too! If you would like to try it out for yourself, apply now >>>.
